Our dream ? To bring restaurant businesses and their communities closer together.
Helping restaurant owners drive continuous improvement across their products choices.
At DropChef, our mission is to help consumers and restaurants owners make better choices for their health. In doing so, we aim to drive manufacturers to offer better products, and support local production.
Just a team of enthusiastic individuals, who want to be part of making a difference.
We have chosen strong values that reflect our DNA and our start-up culture. We are committed to preserving the strength of local ecosystems, because our community depends on it.
We work together to find solutions, being innovative and openly sharing our ideas.
Independent restaurants and small businesses are the backbone of local economies and communities.
While all restaurants were hit hard by the pandemic and subsequent recession, small and independent restaurants bore the brunt. We’re not saying you should boycott your neighborhood McDonald’s or Burger King, of course. However, patronizing local restaurants will help them immensely, and they need your support more than ever.
We encourage restaurant owners to supply their kitchen with goods from local farms. Because the success of locally-grown food is rooted in the relationships, health, and economy of its community.
Sustainable trade is participating in the international trading system in a manner that supports the long-term domestic and global goals of economic growth, environmental protection, and strengthening social capital.
It has been shown to increase standards of living and reduce risk and vulnerability for farmers and workers. The Fairtrade Minimum Price provides a safety net for farmers which can mean they are less vulnerable to price volatility. In turn, this can mean a better cash flow, greater access to credit and the ability to save more easily.
We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace
where all our employees are recognized and valued for their specific attributes and contributions. We realize the importance of driving sensitization in building a more inclusive workforce.
We regularly attend networking forums for our employees to engage with women and minority-based leaders, and explore the power of people talking about diversity and inclusion – creating awareness and making it a part and parcel of their work life.
