Founded in 2020, by former Uber Eats drivers.
It all started back in Australia. We were running bicycles, driving for Uber Eats. Waiting patiently at restaurants that they provide the meals to be picked-up. That's where we noticed how restaurant struggle with this new methods.
One idea. To bring back the restaurants at the center.
What should have been a new opportunity, a new source of income for the business owner.. made them slaves of the new on-demand industry. Indecent third-party margins coupled with the current pandemic even killed some restaurants on the way.
How ? By helping them get control over the digital.
We were not only delivery guys. We were also developers and data scientist. And we took the decision to help restaurants, through the digital, get more income through their activity.
We set out to democratize access to the technology small and medium-sized businesses need to compete against enterprise retailers and eCommerce giants, to help entrepreneurs work smarter, make data-driven decisions and create the best possible experience for their customers. Independent restaurants and small businesses are the backbone of local economies and communities.
While all restaurants were hit hard by the pandemic and subsequent recession, small and independent restaurants bore the brunt. We’re not saying you should boycott your neighborhood McDonald’s or Burger King, of course. However, patronizing local restaurants will help them immensely, and they need your support more than ever.
We encourage restaurant owners to supply their kitchen with goods from local farms. Because the success of locally-grown food is rooted in the relationships, health, and economy of its community.
